On 16 March I briefly checked Saylorville and found 19 species of waterfowl, 1 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 juvenile Thayer's Gull, 1 adult Lesser Black-backed Gull, and 2 Glaucous Gulls.
Yesterday (17 March) I saw 24 species of waterfowl in Benton and Linn counties that included 11 Greater Scaup at Pleasant Creek Rec. Area, apparent migrant Fox Sparrows at 2 locales, and 450 Rusty Blackbirds at Dudgeon Lake. Steve ********** Stephen J.
