March 19th at Lylah's Marsh near Elma there were 300 Greater white - fronted Geese, at least 200 Snow Geese (half of them Blue), 50 Cackling Geese, and 4 Trumpeter Swans ( I.D. by their calls). Nice variety of Widgeons, Bufflehead, Canvasback, Ringed-necks, Gadwall, Pintail, Redhead, and even a Wood Duck pair. No Mergansers. Five or more Bald Eagles were stirring them up so they spent a lot of time airborne.
Lake Hendricks near Riceville had a flock of 100 Scaup with a few Canvasbacks.
