Sighted FOY (first of the year for me) this morning at: Big Woods Lake (N. Cedar Falls) a Common Loon (8:40 AM)
Diagonal Road Pond (SE of airport at 8:50 AM) three Great Egret. Prairie Lakes (Viking Rd. and Hudson Rd.) a breeding plumage Horned Grebe close to the shore watching me scan for interesting birds before I finally saw him/her.
