The Armstrong's and I made our annual pilgrimage to the Kellerton lek this
morning. There were only three birds present, all males. We met a farmer
on the lek road (300th) immediately north of Highway 2 that told us we had
just missed three other Prairie Chickens fly across the road there. They
apparently hang out some in the cattle pasture on the east side of the
road. We've had them at that location in the past.
