Birders,

Molly Gillespie and I took a stroll through Ledges State Park this
afternoon. Interesting birds were as follows:

Lesser Yellowlegs - 1 flew in and landed near Lost Lake while we were
walking around it
Pied-billed Grebe - 2 on Lost Lake
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker - 1
Winter Wren - 1 near Lost Lake
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 2
Cooper's Hawk
Several individuals of both Golden-crowned and Ruby-crowned Kinglets
Eastern Phoebe - pair near Lost Lake
American White Pelican - 17 flying along the river

On a non-bird related note, we heard several Spring Peepers, Western Chorus
Frogs, and a couple Northern Leopard Frogs. We also heard that there was a
family group of Skrades in the park but were unable to locate them.

Good birding,

Tyler
