The Fox Sparrow that has visited our feeder since early December, has now been joined by two companions. We also continue to host 6 Pine Siskins. A pair of Red-bellied Woodpeckers have set up housekeeping in a tree-cavity along our driveway, and interestingly a pair of crows appear to be building a nest in our oak grove, no more than 100ft from our house. On a late-afternoon run along Beaver Creek, I saw my first Brown Creeper of the year.
