Birders While participating in yesterdays annual Crane Count here in Iowa, I was happy to find three cranes at my site in Worth County. It was one the colder counts in recent years. Started out the morning with temps at 29 degrees. Also, American Bittern FOY for me. Later in the morning, in Cerro Gordo County, one beautiful Golden Eagle was seen.
