FOY NORTHERN ORIOLES - 2 Males showed up yesterday and ate heartily of our hastily-deployed orange and jelly. A good two weeks ahead of usual appearance.
Interestingly, we still have 3 PINE SISKINS at our thistle feeders, generally hanging out with the goldfinches. This is the first winter in probably ten or more that we had pine siskins and this is definitely the latest they have ever stayed.
