This morning I was surprised to relocate the RED-NECKED GREBE, again
next to the dam.

The park road on the west side of the beach has been a good spot
for passerines lately and a few buzzing CLAY-COLORED SPARROWS were
concentrated there.

Just north of Palo an Osprey was carrying off a goldfish, which I
wouldn't know were around if it wasn't for the Ospreys.

 Other Pleasant Creek notables were:

 5 Eared Grebes
 1 Horned Grebe
 2 Common Loons
 7 Warbler species
                                                        Jim Forde
                                                        Cedar Rapids
