For those of you who did not attend - you missed a really good weekend of 
birding in southwest Iowa.  The I.O.U. spring meeting, based out of Shenandoah, 
provided all one can expect from such an event.  A sincere thanks to the whole 
Dyche family who organized and hosted the weekend.  The birds cooperated - with 
a fine weekend total in the  mid one eighties.  My personal trip list topped 
out at 121 with the last additional being a lovely Western Grebe at Lake 
Ahquabi late Sunday afternoon.  Unfortunately according to the Johnson-Dinsmore 
Doctrine this bird cannot be added to the weekend's total.
