Birders,

I tallied 73 species today in Ames (Emma McCarthy Lee Park and my
yard).  Warbler diversity has been growing and today yielded 12
species:

Northern Parula
Tennessee Warbler
GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER
Nashville Warbler
Yellow Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat

Other highlights included:

Broad-winged Hawk
Solitary Sandpiper
Barred Owl
Great Crested Flycatcher
Least Flycatcher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Blue-headed Vireo
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Clay-colored Sparrow
Dark-eyed Junco
Bobolink
Baltimore Oriole
Purple Finch
Pine Siskin
