Hi IBirders, 

    Karen, Cooper, and I headed out for the Neal Smith Trail past the 
Cottonwood Rec Area below Saylorville Dam [Polk County]  this morning after the 
rain abated.  Not much in the way of warblers besides the ubiquitous redstarts 
[two of which were nest building], but we did get nice looks at a FOY female 
CANADA WARBLER and a MAGNOLIA WARBLER was singing nearby.  Also, near the spur 
trail over to Bob Shetler Rec Area we had a vociferous FOY ALDER FLYCATCHER.
