Yesterday, while doing some BBA work with Francis Moore a mature Swainson's Hawk was soaring over Split Rock Park in Chickasaw Co. Also enjoyed watching bank swallows dig holes in a large hardened sand pile at a quarry just north of Alcock Park in northern Bremer Co. Sand was flying like little dogs digging up bones.
