After today's rainy morning and noon I went out to the W. Des Moines River
in Humboldt County and checked the riparian forests for Warblers. Not a
huge drop but there were patches.

The Bradgate Wildlife Area had the most species with Wilson's,
Black-and-White, Chestnut-sideds (first year), Blackburnians and a couple
Ovenbirds.

Along the river a Tennessee Warbler was hanging out with a flock of Cedar
Waxwings. And between Delaware and Colorado Aves along the river another
flood of Waxwings also had a Northern Waterthrush hidden inside and a
Wilson's Warbler.
