I followed some Ruby-throats around our flowerbed of Zinnias this afternoon. Caught an encounter between a Hummingbird and a grasshopper on the same flower. Then caught a fight sequence between two hummers with one actually on its back lying on the flower, fighting with the other bird. It seemed the cold weather made them much more tollerant of human activity today.
