Birders This AM I encountered 6 species of shorebirds at Buffalo Creek Wildlife Area in far SW Delaware County: Am. Golden Plover (1) * Semipalmated Plover Killdeer Pectoral Sandpiper Baird's Sandpiper Buff-breasted Sandpiper (1) * Also had 2 Swamp Sparrows, perhaps migrants but suitable habitat for nesting. * First record of these 2 species in the 160-year history of the county.
