We looked around flooded fields this afternoon east of the Bellevue,
NE bridge along Highway 370 and Allis Road in Mills County. Here's
what we found:
Pied-billed Grebe - 8
Great Egret - 72 (all in fields on Allis Rd.)
Great Blue Heron - 17
Killdeer - many
American Golden Plover - 2
Lesser Yellowlegs - 15
Pectoral - 1
Franklin's Gulls - 100's
Barn Swallows - 100's
Loren and Babs Padelford
