The Sioux Falls Bird Club (www.leifericson.org/sfbc/) had a scheduled field 
trip to the NW Iowa SD border areas. 57 species were observed. See slides at:

the birds were not photo cooperative. For instance we saw dozens of RC 
Kinglets, but none sat still for more than 2 seconds, thus the slides are bird 
short and scenery strong. Our next field trip is Nov. 5, meeting at the Sioux 
Falls Outdoor Campus at 8am. All interested folks are welcome. Don't forget the 
CantonSD/Newton Hills SP/Iowa border CBC on December 31. It will be the first 
official year for this count, and if last year's trial run was an indication,
