I just received an email requesting someone to speak about bird banding.  This
may well be a great opportunity for the IOU to make contact with some younger
persons and maybe interest them in joining out great organization.
I will be occupied with several projects and then out of the country until
November 8th.  Hopefully, someone who does bird banding can make contact with
Ms. Talsma and maybe provide a presentation for the students at Northwest Iowa
Community College.

God Bless,

Subject: Speaker for Bird Banding

Mr. Roisen,

I was wondering if you knew of someone who does bird banding. The Natural
Resource class at the community college                     will be reading
Leopold’s 65290 essay from “Sand County Almanac” with a discussion on
regulating game populations on Thursday, November 10th. If I could get someone
to come to campus and share their experience with the students, it would be
greatly appreciated.
