Hey all, Wisconsin also had a Spotted Towhee not that long ago as well.
There have been a string of Ash-throated Flycatcher reports from the east coast this fall. Seems like we just had a strong southwest pattern system come through and dump a bunch of crazy stuff on us. Keep lookin out there. I bet there's a ton more southwestern vagrants that haven't been found yet. I wouldn't be surprised if a Phainopepla showed up.... --Chris On Sun, Oct 30, 2011 at 1:28 AM, Danny Akers <[email protected]>wrote: > It must be rarity season... not sure if anyone has been watching a few of > the other state listservs, but here's a few recent finds. > > Minnesota > -Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (Duluth) > -Tropical/Couch's Kingbird (Duluth) > -Gray-crowned Rosy-Finch (N of Duluth) > -Great Gray Owl (Twin Cities) > > Wisconsin > -Say's Phoebe (found Sat., Sheboygan, L.
