Hi All, There were several species of waterfowl off the Dam early this morning, including 1 SURF SCOTER with Coots off the east overlook. While here, a group of waterfowl flushed from farther up the reservoir and flew south before turning around at the dam; a group of 6 WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS were loosely associated with them and this larger group was last seen heading back to the north. I could not relocate the Surf Scoter before leaving, but the Coots had spead out considerably in my time there. Not much else of note. Danny Akers Ankeny [email protected]
