Hi,
I found our first Northern Saw-whet Owl in the pine grove at
Moorehead Park just west of Ida Grove, Ida County,
this afternoon. The park is just north of Hwy. 59 / 175 about one
mile west of Ida Grove.
I had checked the pines several times this fall including
yesterday afternoon and so I believe it has just arrived.
