After driving around the general area for a bit and running into other
searchers, I finally relocated the Snowy Owl at 1705. The juvenile male was
perched on top on a nesting box, located along Mike Meetz's (the original
discoverer) south property line, running west from 580th Ave. After a couple
of minutes he flew off to the northwest and I drove on with hopes of finding
him again. Came across another vehicle along 200th St that was scoping out a
piece of white plastic far out in a field, near where he was spotted this
morning. (I had checked out the same piece earlier!) They decided to head
north while I drove south along 570th Ave. Within a minute I had spotted the
owl again and watched him catch something in the west field, then fly to the
top of a tall utility pole. Fortunately, another vehicle was behind me and
they got to see the owl, too. (I had alerted them to the first location, but
he had flown before their arrival.) He took flight a few more times and
returned to either the same pole or one further south. Both poles were near
the "One Lane Bridge" sign. By the time I left it was too dark to see much.

Good luck to future "hunters".
