After stopping by Brekkes for some sunflower seed I decided to make a quick check to see if the Snowy Owl was still present. The young male was seen approximately 0.5-mile west of 580th Ave, along 200th St. He was south of the road, in the corn stubble, on top of the third ridge or knoll. He was close to the soybean field on the west (and northwest of Mike Meetz's prairie). Another person was already there looking at the owl.
