The Snowy Owl was present near the Cedar Rapids/Eastern Iowa Airport this morning at 9:00. It was seen from Walford Road, about one-third mile west of 18th Street (just west of where Walford road makes a dip to the south and back). It was on the ground a couple hundred yards north of Walford Road, just south of the chain-link fence, pretty much straight south of the airport terminal (or southeast of the control tower). It was still there when I left.
