I have been observing two immature bald eagles between Echo Bay and Manhattan Point on West Okoboji. They appear to be 2nd year and 3rd year birds according to their plumage. Generally they have been sitting on the ice next to open water filled with Canadas, occasionally taking flight and hovering (in the wind) directly above the geese.
