Birders,

On a tip I got from one of our rangers, I went searching for a snowy owl that 
was seen over the weekend. About a mile from where he saw it, I found it/a dead 
owl. It certainly appears to be a car-collision death - the beak is mangled and 
eyeballs ruptured. It is a young male and was on 240th about .5 mi east of 
Quail. This is about a mile north and 3 miles west of the one we picked up a 
week and a half ago.
