Tonight I failed to relocate the Snowy Owl at the airport
but also saw the SHORT-EARED OWL that has been posted.
It flew across a stubble field (north side of Walford Rd.
and east side of Cherry Valley Rd.) at 5 p.m. Then it perched
on a fence post along the north side of the field until dark.
I scoped it from the high spot of Walford Rd. just east
of the intersection.
Also present was a Great Horned Owl in the area.
