In case anyone is still thinking about going to Ottumwa to see the Bullock's oriole, it was seen today at around noon in the same neighborhood where it has been since mid-December. The family that reported it lives in the 200 block of West Golf Street. It was not at their residence but was hanging out with cardinals and blue jays in that neighborhood, at one point feeding from a suet feeder and then feeding on the ground.
There are a lot of feeders in the neighborhood and I would guess any of them would be worth checking. It is a beautiful male Bullock's.
