Went to Hitchcock Nature Center about 3 this afternoon unrelated to hawkwatching. While there I noticed bald eagles in the sky migrating north. I sat for about 45 minutes and counted 52 migrants during that period. Movement then stopped and the remaining eagles formed a kettle of 16 and returned southeast.
