Birders,
I had a little bit of time to bird this morning and made a lap through the
Brenton Arboretum in Dallas County and Saylorville. At Brenton Arboretum, I
saw a Northern Shrike and a few Greater White-fronted Geese. At
Saylorville, there were a lot of Common Mergansers on the lake along with
what has been reported there the last few days. New for me this year were 4
Red-breasted Mergansers. Im sure there were many more, but I was in a bit
of a hurry.

Good birding,
John Bissell
Grimes
