A trip around Clear Lake this morning came up with nineteen waterfowl species, including the largest flock of Greater White-fronted Geese that I have seen for awhile. There were also four Trumpeter Swans and 5 adult Bald Eagles along with a large flock of Red-winged Blackbirds that included Grackles and Cowbirds. A Great Blue Heron flew across the pasture behind us this afternoon. No Killdeer seen or heard.
