Yesterday morning there were 1000's of geese and ducks on Swan Lake
including the largest concentration of Greater White-Fronted Geese I've
seen in the Eastern part of the state:

Greater White-Fronted Goose (500+)
Greater Canada Goose (300+)
Cackling Goose
Snow Goose
Trumpeter Swan (7)
Canvasback
Mallard
American Wigeon
Black Duck
L Scaup
Bufflehead
Common Goldeneye
Also, manay male red-wings along Swan Lake Road

The White-Fronted outnumbered the combined Greater and Cackling Canada
Geese at least 2-1, though many of the Canadas were leaving to graze as I
arrived. There were probably other waterfowl present also, but you
literally couldn't see them for the geese!
