Hello to you all, After years of faithfully volunteering to collect material for the IOU silent book auction, my father has passed the torch of responsibility on to me.
We are looking for additional donations to add to our depleted collection. If you have any books about nature or birds that have been collecting dust on your shelves, I will take them. Also, any birding or nature related equipment, i.e. audio cd's, binocs would also be acceptable. Remember that many of us are interested in other areas of nature and natural history than birds. A long forgotten book can become someone else's treasure. This sale goes to a good cause as all of the proceeds go to help support our publications committee. Please let me know if you are bringing something so I can get an idea of how many tables I might need. You can drop the books off to me or hand them off to me Friday night before the meeting.
