Hi,

I made a quick trip down to Riverton WA looking for shorebirds--no luck with
that but I did find A Glossy Ibis along with six White-faced Ibis. I suspect
that it is the same bird I found in Mills County last week. The only other
difference was that the White-faced Ibis seemed brighter than the birds I saw
last week. The birds were feeding just west of the West Nishnabotna River on
250th St.(J46) on the North side of the road. Anyone looking for the Glossy
might want to also check Secret Lake, Forney Lake and the wetland in Mills
County where they were previously found.

It was very windy and the Ibis were very flighty and took off to the northwest.

Other birds of note:

Sandhill Crane
Yellow-headed Blackbird
3 Ibis--Riverton WA
2 second-year Bald Eagles

Keith Dyche
Shenandoah
