Joyce and I checked out Hawkeye Wildlife Area in Johnson County and found 49
species.
Along Babock Access were hundreds of swallows with Tree, Bank, Cliff and
Barn. 2 American Pipits and 2 Eurasian Tree Sparrows.
On James Dr had a Philadelphia Vireo, Rosebreasted Grosbeak and 2 Savannah
Sparrows.
3 Redhead ducks at Swan Lake
Other found were several Warbling Vireos, American Pelicans, Song Sparrows,
Gray Catbird, 3 Brown Thrashers, Baltimore Oriole, Louisana Waterthrush and
several House Wrens.
