The Iowa City Bird Club had a field trip to Otter Creek Marsh in Tama County this morning. Selected sightings:
--1 Mute Swan --1 Snow Goose (Blue) --8 duck species --Peregrine Falcon --Virginia Rail (1 seen, 2 heard) --Sora (many heard) --4 shorebird species (Killdeer, Wilson's Snipe, Lesser Yellowlegs, Spotted Sandpiper) --Yellow-headed Blackbirds --Great-tailed Grackles These were all seen from the east side (S Avenue).
