Birders,

A walk to Lost Lake in Ledges State Park with Bruce Ehresman and Natalie
Randall this afternoon yielded five FOYs including a singing Rose-breasted
Grosbeak and Ovenbird, along with a Green Heron and Solitary Sandpiper on
the lake and a Swainson's Thrush above the lake along the ridge. We also
had a territorial Red-shouldered Hawk calling and a Broad-winged Hawk
overhead. A Yellow-throated Warbler and Northern Parula continue to sing
near the Wildlife Research Station.

Take care,

Tyler Harms
Ames, Story Co.
