Hello, Today I birded at Big Lake in Pottawattamie Co and found 7 Dowitchers. They have done some updating to the park since the flood. They have an extensive marsh area, and they finally put a walk way through part of it. There are many shorebirds to be seen. I have also seen: Pectoral sandpipers Semipalmated sandpiper Semipalmated Plover Killdeer Greater Yellowlegs Lesser Yellowlegs Solitary sandpiper Spotted sandpiper Wilson's Phalarope Penny
