This afternoon at Twin View Heights (upper Coralville Reservoir) in Johnson
County, James Huntington and I saw the following shorebirds:

--Ruddy Turnstone (Twin View Heights)
--Short-billed Dowitchers
--Lesser Yellowlegs
--Pectoral Sandpiper
--Dunlins
--Semipalmated Plovers
--Semipalmated Sandpipers
--White-rumped Sandpipers
--Least Sandpipers

The Ruddy Turnstone was seen by going to the parking lot to the left (west) at
Twin View Heights and looking across the water, almost straight (north). There
were shorebirds along the water's edge and in the grass on the far side of the
water, and the Ruddy T. was in the grass.

Round Pond at Hawkeye Wildlife Area had a similar mix of shorebirds, minus the
Ruddy Turnstone.
