Yesterday doing a BBA block I saw a Red-necked Grebe in a pond south of Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo County. Today by Fertile, Iowa (Worth County) in the gravel pit there, there was an adult Com. Loon along with at least six Trumpeter Swans. (The pit was only partially visible from the road so there may have been more swans.)
