8:30-10:00AM Sunday August 19th

Very quiet most of the time but 3 pockets of warbler/chickadee--mostly from the 
trail by the main parking area (playground equipment) traveling northwards to 
Harrison/4th Street NW corner.  Covered the trail twice.  The pockets would 
disappear only to reappear on another pass.

Mallard numerous
Turkey Vulture 6 roosting of the creek
Cooper's Hawk 1
Broad-winged Hawk 1
Red-tailed Hawk 1
Spotted Sandpiper 1
Morning Dove 7
Ruby-throated Hummingbird 1  1st one in quite some time.
Downy Woodpecker 1
Eastern Wood Pewee 4
suspected Yellow-bellied Flycatcher but no confirmation as it disappeared 
before I could get good looks at it
Least Flycatcher
Great Crested Flycatcher
Barn Swallow
Red-eyed Vireo 2
Blue Jay 5
American Crow 3
House Wren
Black-capped Chickdee numerous
White-breasted Nuthatches 8-9
American Robin 4
Gray Catbird 2
Tennessee Warbler 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 3 1st year
Black-throated Green 1 (despaired of seeing one of these this year)
American Redstart 3  male 1 female 2
Canada 1 (as many as have been seen this year I cannot believe it was a FOY)
SPARROWS  ZERO
Northern Cardinal 5
American Goldfinch numerous

House Sparrow (I guess I did see a sparrow)

Hoping to see the Yellow-crowned Night-Heron this evening with Rita Goranson's 
help.
