It seems every park has a pocket of warblers if you can find
them and this morning Kent Park was the easiest yet. Along the
sunlit side of the lake the warblers were right next to the
gravel path and not too far from the parking lot. I also found
another warbler spot at the boundary, north of the Conservation
Ed. Center. 12 warbler species and other bird notables were:
Cape May
Juv. Mourning (2)
Golden-winged
Black-throated Green
White-eyed Vireo
Juv. Broad-winged Hawk (one at every park)
Jim Forde
Cedar Rapids
