Today, Rose and I met my dad at Greenbelt Lake to do some birding.
We found a female B.T.B. Warbler. My dad, spotted a bird moving low about
3-4 feet high in some thick understory, near the edge of
the woods. We waited to get a better look, once we got
a better look at the bird, we could see the distinctive
white spot on the wings and confirmed it to be a female
B.T.B. Warbler! It was a great morning for warblers, as
we found 19 species in all. Other noteables were:
2 Bay-Breasted W.
1 Mourning W.
4 Golden-Winged W.
1 Black-Throated Green W.
3 Cananda W.
2 Red-Breasted Nuthatches
1 R.S. Hawk
2 Yellow-Bellied Flycatchers
3 Olive-Sided Flycatchers

Good Birding,
Tommy Stone,
Evansdale
