I did some shorebirding at the marsh this morning finding similar
numbers as previous trips. The pool next to the barn had the best 
variety (10 species) with one juv. WESTERN SANDPIPER and 5 Baird's.
Many pelicans and teal crowded the diminishing waters and Turkey
Vultures took advantage of the dead fish. 

 No sign of the Swallow-tailed Kite in the areas I visited.
