Birders Yesterday PM after the Floyd of Rosedale triumph, Linda Rudolph and I visited Ciha Fen in far NE Johnson County. This is a very pleasant 80 acre property with a nutrient-poor fen and stately oaks. 23 bird species, not an overly impressive number, but one of them was a Merlin. Also saw one Blanding's Turtle.
