After a short disappearance, the Actic Tern has been relocated at Sandpiper Beach on Saylorville Reservoir. It hung out on its cinder block perch for 15-20 minutes and then quietly slipped away as I struggled to compose a post on my smartphone for the first time. I got some great pictures, though, and I am confident that it will be back. Last seen at 12:51PM.
