At least 1 of the very cooperative Nelson's sparrows previously reported
by Tom & Tommy Stone is still at Prairie Lakes in Cedar Falls this
afternoon. I flushed it out of the weeds and into the cattails along the
west edge of the small, now half dry pond that is east of the main lake.
It is hanging around the area that is 30 or 40 feet south of the small
parking area on the northeast corner of the main lake.
