Hello everyone, Today on campus at the University of Iowa I saw two teeny tiny mystery birds. Their behavior drew my attention. They were clinging to the actual side of the brick English and Philosophy Building. They were very small (under 5 inches) and grey and yellow. Looking in my field guide, they looked the most like Ruby-Crowned Kinglets. Would these be in the area at this time of year? Would they behave like that? Could it have been something else, a small warbler, maybe?
This campus is great, you're always seeing surprising birds!
