Hi,
Sorry about the late report, but we haven't had internet access for the last
few days.
I birded Lake Manawa Sunday afternoon. Highlights were 2 Western Grebes, 47
Horned Grebes,1 Common Loon. I also found 2 Nelson Sparrows, one along the shore
south of the north picnic area and one in the southeast corner of the lake
along the shore off of Lakeview Trail.
Other birds of interest:
First of the year Golden-crowned Kinglet
Fox Sparrow
Harris Sparrows
Field Sparrows
Sedge Wren
23 Yellow-rumped Warblers
7 Ruby-crowned Kinglets
Lots of Ruddy Ducks
